It was so easy to set up, the desktop site isn’t complicated at all, and the app is very easy and problem free. Basically plug and playthe detection sensor can be on a high or low setting, which is good as i don’t need it to go off if a moth flies past the camera at the factorythere is roughly a 5 second delay on the live stream, which is expected as it’s run over the wifi. There is also plenty of cable from the plug socket to the monitor, so it can easily be put high up on the wall if your socket is near the ground. It comes with the wall mounting kit which is a big bonus. Customer support is really very good, i had a small issue with the time not coming up on the live stream on my home camera. I emailed the customer support at y-cam and had a response within the hour. Antony fernandez gave me the solution, i did as he said and the problem was resoved straight away. The initial outlay isn’t a cheap way to monitor your home, but over a year i worked out it is less money than having my alarm systems checked and the batteries replaced, so for me it’s a no brainer.

    Great cameras, quick to set up and fab customer support. I don’t often give reviews but felt i needed to as these cameras are great; easy to set up (use chrome though, not edge) and antony fernandez from their customer support replied almost immediately to help me set them up (note to use chrome or another browser to do this as edge doesn’t connect to the camera in the setup process). The 2nd camera set up was quick and easy once i used chrome and to know their customer support is so quick gives peace of mind. So much so i’m going to invest in more of these little beauties.
