        An inexpensive quality cctv system. I have to admit being a little sceptical about the system because of the price but having installed it 2 weeks ago i am really impressed. There are systems available at more than three times the cost with no better specifications. It was easy to install and set up although the instructions leave a lot to be desired but the customer help team are great. Whilst it can take 8 cameras i am using 4 and that gives me a full month of recording in the hard drive. I have added a 2 tb external hard drive to cover all eventualities. The app for my iphone is ok but it works well enough for me to view in real time. Having said that i occasionally need to reboot the phone to re-set the app. May well be me but a small price to pay. I would have liked the wide angle lens on the camera to be a little wider but i am probably expecting too much from a system under £190.

        Quality great for price and image quality is good. However i found it difficult to configure, i haven’t been able to setup cloud access to the camera’s and the xmeye cloud service doesn’t work. And that is from someone who works in it.Also the email alerts don’t seem to work either. I can only access my camera’s by connecting over vpn which i can do with my router and login from there. Instructions are poorly written, looks as though someone with bad english translated them from chinese. What i do like is i can remotely configure the dvr using the pc application that came with the dvr.

    Quality picture, dvr is good, software easy to use, shame you need a 25mm drill bit. This is my first product review, it is genuine as i feel there are some pros and cons that need sharing about this product following my purchase early december. The product arrived on time and well packaged/protected. Camerasthe bullet cameras are sturdy and feel like they will weather well. There are two different lenses which i found adequate to provide a reasonable amount of surveillance around my property with a long drive and short view at the rear of the house. I was not impressed however with the rj45 female connector at the end of the cameras end which is sealed and cannot be removed for the purpose of feeding through cavity walls. This means you have to drill about a 25 mm wide hole through the cavity wall to feed the huge connector through. This creates a second problem in that you cannot feed the cable directly behind the camera mount to hide the cabling as the holes to mount the camera are too close to the 25mm cable hole and it’s a real pain to drill such big holes and then have to fill with cement again. Picture quality is very good, night vision is as expected it’s ok and does the job for me and is as good as you get for this kind of money. Dvrquite impressed with this; the dvr is easy to use, i had all cameras working in about 10 minutes.

      Awaiting new high spec adaptor. Camera build and picture quality are very good. The system said error in hard disk, eventhough the 2 tb disk worked well, when connected to a pc. The customer service sent me a 1 tb hard disk, which is working well. The system worked well for few days. Stopped working all of a sudden. Customer service said it may be faulty power adaptor. Tried with different adaptor. The customer service is sending me a new adaptor.
