      The image quality produced by this camera is very good indeed – much better than our existing security cameras. All the specs are already listed elsewhere so no need to bore everyone but having a high resolution video feed allows for ‘digital zooming’. On top of the camera’s excellent 10x optical zoom this enables you to see very far away objects / subjects. I would have preferred to have had a wider field of view on the other end of the scale but no fault of the camera for this as it does what it says it does – there don’t seem to be many wide-angle cameras available. The pan and tilt functions work well. Has lasted through a few windy and wet days but not yet encountered really bad weather so fingers crossed. Some things i am not entirely satisfied with. The infrared led lights are just too damn much.They are great at throwing shed loads of light at far away objects but they project the same focused beams of light whatever the zoom level so that close up they produce an over-exposed spot in the center of the image.

    I would imagine this would work very well with there nvr’s and would make a great system if starting from afresh. Superb picture quality especially at night and reasonable price.     Sw1080p ptz camera 10x optical zoom. For the price this is a fantastic camera. Night vision can see up to 100m in pitch black with ease. Many features can only be accessed by logging in to camera directly with internet explorer via the network as my annke nvr only seems to be capable of controlling left/right/up/down/zoom in/zoom out and some fixed presets directly. Image is clear and crisp both in day and night modes. The 10x optical zoom is fantastic.

    Excellent cam for the price. Like anything you have to pay a little more for a better product. The camera the picture is beautiful. My blue iris software runs the motion detection. The picture is hd when not running motion detection but either way it is really good. At night is a crystal clear image that allows you to see in pitch dark up to 20m. My driveway is 60 ft and i can see clearly to the end.

In main stream view you get full 1080p and in daylight that means that you can literally clearly see people walking about in a village on the opposite side of the valley which is over 1km from the camera. If it proves to be as reliable as its initial performance then it will be a great buy. Only thing that has proved to be a problem so far is that when i watch the camera which is in france from a uk based based location i can only get it resolve the mpeg setting – the main stream just gives a blank page.
