I don’t get false alarms, the stream and recording quality is good, and the app is easy to use. I like that you can set up different profiles for its behaviour. I have one for holiday and one for when i’m not at home but still in the area (e. If it detects motion or noise or a big change in temperature (your choice) you can have the alarm go off, receive a notification, receive a phone call/ text message, and/ or you could have it call/ text someone else. All very useful and effective. The siren is definitely loud enough to get the attention of neighbours. The only downside is the reliability of the connection.

    Not worth the full rrp, but a good buy at a discount price. .Image quality not as high as i would have hoped, although the pan/scan functionality works very well. Lost connection for no apparent reason once in the month i have had it. Recommended at the discount prices amazon were using, but not at full rrp.

So within a short time at the weekend, i had installed a smart security solution, which is monitoring the main front door, giving me video camera protection based on sound and movement, plus control over a light in the house. All fully installed by me with no ongoing costs and no monthly charges.
