Review and Buying Guide Nightwatcher NW500 LED Robotic Security Light

It dose what it seas on the tin. Acquired it installed it and it is effective fine.

Amazed so significantly, only small gripes. I purchased one of these just lately when they were being at £99. I wanted an minimal energy led security light to replace a halogen 1 that experienced failed. The explanation i experimented with this was because i wished a solitary device to detect and light two reverse finishes of one hundred eighty degrees, i. When a motor vehicle drives into our gate, or at the other close of our drive, when we are walking/driving from our back door towards the gate. My outdated one halogen, even with a 180 diploma sensor could under no circumstances light up either end perfectly with out compromising some other location. I failed to want to place two halogens up, as one would always be lighting up a redundant area and i am making an attempt to help you save electrical payments not waste extra. I also didn’t want to wind my neighbour up as well much with light air pollution. The pir is really sensitive and can see really far absent if you mount it superior. It detects us coming from either stop of our generate, and turns to light up the ideal place. The light from the leds amazed me, i was sceptical acquiring observed the inexpensive efforts at my regional b&q. This device utilizes decent ‘nichia’ leds and throw a decent pure white light which even my spouse was amazed with. Notice i was only changing a 150w halogen but far more than satisfied with the output from this in comparison to that. The light is also quite directional which is effective effectively in fact simply because its robotic and means you can light up what you want, and not your neighbours so much.

Not surewhether i would have another. It is fine but have had difficulty getting it to scan the area as wanted—forwhatever reason doesnt seem as good as previous one and yet it is exactly the same.

Impressed so far, only minor gripes. I bought one of these recently when they were at £99. I wanted an low power led security light to replace a halogen one that had failed. The reason i tried this was because i wanted a single unit to detect and light two opposite ends of 180 degrees, i. When a car drives into our gate, or at the other end of our drive, when we are walking/driving from our back door towards the gate. My old single halogen, even with a 180 degree sensor could never light up either end well without compromising some other area. I didn’t want to put two halogens up, as one would always be lighting up a redundant area and i’m trying to save electric bills not waste more. I also didn’t want to wind my neighbour up too much with light pollution. The pir is quite sensitive and can see really far away if you mount it high. It detects us coming from either end of our drive, and turns to light up the right place. The light from the leds impressed me, i was sceptical having seen the cheap efforts at my local b&q. This unit uses decent “nichia” leds and throw a decent pure white light which even my wife was impressed with. Note i was only replacing a 150w halogen but more than happy with the output from this compared to that. The light is also quite directional which works well actually because its robotic and means you can light up what you want, and not your neighbours so much.
