I bought the wifi model to eliminate the process of taking the memory card out of the device to view on full screen or backup the recordings. Unfortunately the wifi feature is useless for few reasons; (1) the camera will not turn the wifi on if you choose to record in highest resolution (1296p). (2) the wifi file transfer is extremely slow, a 3 minutes clips in 1080p will take 20+ minutes to transfer (3) the camera suggest you to pause recording if you choose to transfer files faster over the wifi although still it takes 15+ minutes to transfer a 3 minutes clip. The recordings in 1080p and 1296p are otherwise very clear and crisp.

      Good quality dash-cam, worth paying for (rather than very cheap items available). Initially experienced problems updating software (to convert km to miles on speed cameras) but mio support very good. For updating ensure camera is fully charged and after downloading updates on computer transfer camera (with installed sd card) to car adapter for update completion. Persevere, it works eventually. Touch screen operation preferable to pressing fiddly buttons. Second sd card does not double memory capacity but can be used as back-up. When setting up insert charging cable into socket first as cable cannot be attached with socket installed (instructions do not mention this). Overall a good performing dash-cam, would recommend.

      Great upgrade to my previous mivue dashcam. Upgraded from the mivue 568 touch for the wifi capability. Brilliant device – i immediately noticed the difference in the lens. It is so much wider than my previous mivue units. When mounted in the centre of the windscreen the camera can almost see from a-post to a-post it is that wide. Once downside this does cause if vehicles ahead of you do look quite far away even when they are very close.
