    Quality image at a good distance. Item bought at a discount for an unbiased reviewarrived on time and well packagedthis unit is easy to setup and picture quality is good, remote viewing is simple with the app and being able to record remotely and take snap shots is a bonus. Night light is brilliant my garden is pretty much black at night and this seems to do a brilliant job even for distance. Only problem i have with it is motion detection just cant get it to work.

      Very very nice for the price. For the price this is a very sturdy and well built wireless camera which gives a very good picture both day and night and only let down by the cables as others have mentioned the power cable is far too short and i would say not very suitable to be left unprotected outside and it would be nice if the ethernet connector was removable as it is rather bulky and i had to purchase a external junction box to house it and the reset button cable as these again do not seem suitable to be left to outside to the elements. The camera is setup and controlled by a mobile app which i find to be very good but it could do with a help section to explain what exactly and how the settings work. Although this review might seem negatives i really would have no problem in recommending this camera as the cable problems can be fixed with very little expense and the camera itself is very well made and gives very good images for what i think is very reasonable price.

    Easy setup and very functional. Excellent product and easy setup. Contrary to some reviews here it does date and time stamp. You can elect to have the date and time on the live video and on the motion detected clips. In addition the filename of the clip also contains date and time (ie filename “20160606195423. Mp4” would mean 19:54 and 23 secs on 6th june 2016). Setup of everything (ir cut, motion detection etc) can be done using explorer in windows or on iphone/ipad using ismartviewpro. Just ordered a couple more for home security. Also works remotely (so you can even monitor your house from work if you really want to).

Now for people who want a more detailed reviewi find the picture quality for a 720p is very good and the night vision is equally as good. I found the instructions for the initial set up are straight forward to follow and can be set up in minutes for your phone and the web (use ethernet cable for first time set up the add wifi after)there are instructions and videos on the web if you do get stuck and various links on the ideanext web site for any software needed as well as guides. There are numerous settings once you have it set up including: all day record, snapshot photo record i think this is great idea for a security camera as you can take photo’s or video’s from your phone anytime and they will be saved straight to your phone there is also alarm record, alarm photo record, picture email message, alarm mobile alert, time of day and night record all with a time stamp. All and all a pretty comprehensive fully functioning camera. The camera build seems very sturdy and durable i can vouch for this a my wife dropped it from about 5 foot with no damage to the camerathe camera can be moved into different positions then tightened up with a allen key which is provided with it the fitting and plugs are also provided so you can mount this on a wall and you also get a ethernet cable for first tine set upthe camera also has a 8gb micro sd card built in i belive this can be change but would not recommed doing it yourself unless you are certain you know what you are doing as it involes taking the camera apartyou can also record locally to the computer using the software downloaded for the links on the ideanext web site. I have connected this camera to my pc and my phone and find both very easy to use. I am using wireless and find it very stable with a fantastic range but if you do not have good wireless there is the option to use a ethernet cablei searched on amazon for this sort of camera for ages and this was one of the cheaper options available so i was not sure how good it would be so needless to say i am very happy now that i have it set up it fits my needs for home security perfectly i would recommend this to anyonei received this product at a discounted rate for my honest review however this does not alter my view in any way as this is my very own and unbiased opinioni hope this may help with any questions in the future or if you have any questions pleas ask and i will help if i canlike many people on amazon, i rely heavily on customer reviews being honest and helpful which is exactly what i have tried to achieve with my review. The instructions could be a little clearer but i found watching and following youtube videos the best way to set up. Picture quality is pretty good and the supporting app is pretty basic but for the price this is a pretty decent camera. I received this product at a discount in return for my review.

    This camera had really good quality. I used it in my kitchen to watch my dogs when i went out and to make sure things was ok at home. The picture is really good and a true 720p the night vision using the 2 ir led on the front worked better then i expected.You can see in complete darkness as if it was day but not in colour same as all night ir vision. Setting up was easy once i worked out you don’t need to name the unit and just copy the iq code when its plugged into the modem for set up, once this is done it can be un plugged and moved and will not lose settings and work straight away so good when a power cut happens. I would say if you don’t need 1080p this is a very good camera.

      Great value out door camera. For a non it person it was fairly easy to set up on my android phone and tablet. I have had it nearly a month now and so far can access it through wifi or 3g from anywhere. It has gone off line a couple of times, seems to be when the internet goes down (i live in a village), but the reset button worked the first time, the second time i had to reconnect it to the wifi with the lead but the app on the phone and tablet then picked it up again. Haven’t yet worked out how to record when there is an alarm trigger but can easily take photos or record when i am logged in. And also haven’t figured out the email alert as i don’t know the port info for btinternet – so can’t comment on the alarm bit although it creates an alarm log on the app. For the price, i think it is really good value and haven’t had any issues yet with the app. I would agree the lead is a little short but i haven’t needed to buy an extension as i have a plug socket inside near to where it is positioned on the exterior wall.

        But i am contually getting spider spinning its web in front of it. This only affects it by night and virtually blanks out the view with a illuminated web. Being disabled am not able to get to clear it. As yet not tried the speaking mode. The problem with the sencer was cats and the movement of the washing line swinging with the wind had to turn it off. Yes i know shoot the spider. Anyway it is a good product came on time and well packaged.
