Review and Buying Guide Friedland CWFK4D Heavy Duty Digital Wireless Colour CCTV and Monitor Kit

Uncomplicated to set up and easy to use.

Quite uncomplicated to established up while the guidelines usually are not the most effective. Relatively quick to set up though the recommendations usually are not the ideal. Excellent is about what i would hope and fairly usable – both my cameras have adjacent lighting which increases night time high quality. I have the recorder in a timber constructing about 30m from the cameras, it is afflicted by intervening vegetation but would seem great now the leaves have dropped.

  • Two digital wireless colour cameras
  • One digital wireless monitor/receiver with built in 4 channel DVR
  • Expandable with the addition of 3 cameras
  • Monitor can run for up to 4 hours unplugged when fully charged
  • Motion detector alarm

Superior solution but the signal isn’t really the best if there is more than a person wall in the way.

Okay for daytime , rather lousy at night. Useless when spiders make webs above the lens.

We thought it might be good for wildlife monitoring as well. Arrived alright and was complete. Cameras are heavy, as well as heavy duty and did work. The screen is not that intuitive to use and instructions are not that clear but it does work; may be such a thing needs so time to get used to; we have been using it for a few weeks. We thought it might be good for wildlife monitoring as well, but it is not high enough definition to see details either in resolution or frame rate but it does capture that there is something there. To recognise a face it needs to be a few meters away. It’s range is about 200 metres as it says, but only if there is nothing in the way. Communicates with cameras round the house fine.
