Huge housing cctv camera with superior impression high-quality and adjustment means. . Purchased to substitute a reduced spec 380tvl line camera. Am really content so much with it. The impression quality is wonderful, in each daytime and zero lux (ir) disorders. The irs illuminate a big place – about as huge as you can get and still be ready to discern image specifics (ie faces) the emphasis and extensive angle adjustment are a small fiddly and a tiny little bit challenging to alter when gadget is mounted, but it does give you a large volume of adaptability of how a great deal you observe and wherever you concentration. Also the housing is massive, which i imagine offers it additional of a pro edge – from the picture it seems to be just yet another dinky cctv camera, but this is serious searching piece of kit. Could possibly be out of location within a domestic residence, but exterior a residence appears to be great. The documentation for the osd features could be better, but most of them are superfluous (ended up not need to alter something – but good to have them there).

Extremely superior impression and the image high quality at total night time was a very superior shock. I just purchased a 2nd 1.

Superior reliable bracket, i like the concealed wires which vacation as a result of the bracket to within thrall. Excellent small gizmo for altering aperture, concentration and so forth.

Used it indoors for amateur dramatics musical production so that cast could see and take cues from our musical director using monitors placed in the auditorium. Coped with all the changes in lighting levels. The instructions don’t really explain how you set up zoom and focus or which is which. The 2 knurled knobs under the lens are what you want; at first i thought that by unscrewing the knurled knobs i’d be able to physically move the lens but that is not the case – just tighten or slacken to achieve the focus and zoom you need. It’s a pity that this camera does not come with a power supply.

    Very well made and looks robust, but had to. Very well made and looks robust, but had to return because it’s too big. Looks worth the money though. One thing, i looked at the instructions and they were in the tiniest of print and faint too. I think i would have had difficulty setting this up on the enclosed instructions alone.

    The design of the camera, as to positioning of the ir led’s, seems to have changed since i bought this camera some months ago. Mine are in 4 blocks, this one seems to be just a circle. I cannot comment on other changes. Having purchased several cameras for day and night use i find any with less than 72 led’s is a waste of time for night viewing, especially if there is no supplemental lighting such as street lights. This one lights up my drive at night for a good 15 yards; the other lights up the garden to the rear for 20 yards. The led’s are visible at night so anyone can see there is a camera operating; however, you need to be walking directly towards it to see them. Viewing angles vary with the focal length; mine is set to view a ‘standard’ driveway and covers the house side and some of the neighbours drive. Unlike very cheap camera’s this shows good colour reproduction. My first camera showed pink grass / trees and people’s cloths due to the generated infra red.

      The daytime image is good although its not a huge improvement over my 420 tvl camera. Good clear image at night with very little noise. The camera points to my car parked about 20m away and the ir led’s are strong enough to reach there. The bracket is a bit fiddly but the biggest negative of this camera is a extremely short lead. No chance to put it through the wall and my walls are really thin. Only solution is an outside junction box. Overall not bad for the price.

The irs illuminate a large area – about as large as you can get and still be able to discern image details (ie faces) the focus and wide angle adjustment are a little fiddly and a little bit hard to alter when device is mounted, but it does give you a large amount of flexibility of how much you monitor and where you focus. Also the housing is large, which i think gives it more of a pro edge – from the picture it appears to be just another dinky cctv camera, but this is serious looking piece of kit. Might be out of place inside a domestic residence, but outside a house looks fine. The documentation for the osd functions could be better, but most of them are superfluous (ended up not need to alter anything – but nice to have them there).

    Good solid bracket, i like the hidden wires which travel through the bracket to inside thrall. Good little gizmo for adjusting aperture, focus etc.

      The camera arrived quickly and well packaged. Fitting the camera was simple, the bracket allows for plenty of vertical and horizontal adjustment so providing that the bracket is fitted level adjustment is easy. The fitting instructions area very brief and therefore if you a new to fitting cameras adjusting the zoom and focus could be confusing (two hex keys below camera lens assembly). Picture quality is very good in the daytime however the ir beam is too concentrated therefore nighttime pictures are not as good as they could have been. The overall design and build quality appears to be very good, i would recommend this camera.
