    We bought this inspection camera to help in identifying how rats are getting into our loft. The lcd screen is really good allowing real time viewing when the camera disappears into voids. The camera is attached to a semi rigid cable so you can just bend the end part to enable viewing at diffeent angles. We did find that being semi rigid the wire wanted to bend itself so the problem was quickly solved by encasing it in a cling film cardboard tube – perfect. The lcd functions are really easy and we took many photos which were good enough quality to let us see what was happening in the very dark spaces. In addition we have a motion sensor cctv in the loft too and we can use the lcd screen to pick up images from that system as well. Overall we are really happy with the product and i have already thought of many more uses for it.

The wireless reception is good (2,4 ghz), with one drawback: if you have a wireless security camera, you might experience some interference. In that case prefer to mount the monitor on the device and the problem disappears. And yes, you can use the monitor as a wireless security camera receiver, if you desire.Another drawback is the bulky mini-camera.
