Incredibly fantastic, excellent lengths on the cables. Only downside is that the software package is really clunky. The mobile app (android) is not in the perform store so you have to obtain the apk and permit ‘unknown sources’ which has bits even now in chinese. The internet interface will not do the job in chrome, but works wonderful in ie (urgh). These two downpoints eliminate a star for me, the frontend could be a lot improved. The digicam top quality is really superior and in particular at evening it has no difficulties seeing to the stop of the garden (25yds) and a large amount further. I have not seriously used the hdmi for the reason that i don’t have ethernet any place close to my tv set (everything is wi-fi these times). I did use it for original setup and it was great.

    Picture quality is decent, installation is quick, menu is straightforward and viewing over a network is reliable. . Box arrived, well packed, everything i needed to start installing. One minor problem was due to a faulty cable connection which required me to swap out the cable which was a bit of a pain – i was unable to work out if it was a problem with the cable or if i pinched it during the installation so no marks off there. Overall it took me a day start to finish to install and get working perfectly. Pros:1) easy to install2) easy to configure – menus were pretty straightforward and it took very little work to access it from over the internet. Cons:1) when attempting to connect it to the recommended app so i could view it over the internet, the process of scanning in a qr code didn’t work for me. I gave it a couple of tries and stopped trying in favour of just manually opening the ports on my router and forwarding to the cctv recorder. 2) the app works great, as does viewing it from a web browser, but it has to be ‘internet explorer’ not ‘edge’ on a windows pc, and you have to install the may plug-ins which can make the initial setup awkward. Overall, picture quality is decent, installation is quick, menu is straightforward and viewing over a network is reliable (if not a pain to set up).

    Weeks to film wildlife in the garden and i’m happy with the quality of video. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks to film wildlife in the garden and i’m happy with the quality of video, i am not sure yet if i can zoom in with this model as i’m still learning how to use it, but today had it set up to work on my i-phone. It’s great, doing what it is supposed to do. Not the simplest to set up, but up and working it’s great. Except perhaps for the remote which doesn’t appear to react very well unless i am very close. I’ll persevere and will contact the supplier if i feel the remote is faulty. Nice system and good value for money.

    Good quality cameras and pvr. Shame about the accompanying app. The cameras are excellent quality and the interface is quite good. The motion detection is very sensitive (picks up rain) but i am sure i just need to play around with the settings. The android app is not very nice, it does the job but cannot seem to get push alerts working and all app comms are in chinese. The support staff at annke are also very helpful.

      However i was recommended to upgrade it. Hi all,i have this sannce dvr and has been working ok, however i was recommended to upgrade it, so i get better features. Therefore, i went to and download the upgrade. I uploaded and push upgrade. Dvr was upgrading and seems was going ok, but suddenly stop and just display a black page with sannce logo. I am very upset the sannce provided a dodgy firmware. I bounced, but still the same. I had static ip previously, but now no able to reach by ip (dynamic and static) so wonder if one of you may know how to factory reset or put previous firmware if unable to access by web and neither by vga/hdmi.

      For the money, this system is great, easy install, set-up, picture quality amazing. Only reason have dropped a star, the android app. The phone version is perfect, the andriod tablet after a day i get a green screen so have to un install/reinstall to see the stream. A few others have commented the same on app store so hopefully feedback will get it sorted.
