Through the app, you can move the camera around however i find this to be quite slow and difficult particularly when youre out with poor internet, you can put the speaker on to hear whats going on in the house and you can also put the mic on to speak to the camera which is a great feature and something everyone thinks is amazing especially when im out and friends see me talking to my dog. Theres not too much more to talk about, the camera quality is fantastic especially in hd though even sd is good. Night vision is extraordinary as well, crystal clear even in pitch black. Overall, its a fantastic camera and i dont think you can get much better especially for this price. The issue is the camera looses it’s setting all the time, it can only be setup in ntsc format (i have 2 of these cameras the other works fine and can be set to pal), each time their response they clearly have not read my email, each time they tell me how to re-set the camera to pal format (which i have already stated does not work, no option to actually switch from ntsc to pal, no drop down) the last 5 email replies to them i have asked for my case to be escalated to an manager, this request is totally ignored. All i get is thank you and have a great day, i would if i could get some good, logically informative supporti’ve asked for a replacement to be sent which on receipt of i will send the faulty one back (this way the area of security is still kept and in my eyes is the only option they should offer). The other camera (the one that works) works like a dream if however you have to contact their support like i had to for the faulty one then be prepared to deal with a 5 year olds as clearly i have, perhaps when their support team have passed through big school they may be able to read customer emails and provide full and constructive support which i guess is what they are paid to do. On this basis i would say do not purchase one of these, there are plenty of these cameras on the market and their support is maned by grown up’s.

The amcrest camera was pretty easy to set up, nothing to note here – all as expected. The wireless range seems to be better than any of other cctv cameras i have used, this camera is mounted in a window at the furthest point away from my wireless access point. The app for iphone is not the best looking, i have opted for the cloud option which has much nicer and easier to use app and also saves all of your recordings to the cloud which can be viewed from anywhere with internet access.
