Appreciate the camera but i was not able to get the email function to perform and regrettably purchaser support could not figure it out possibly.       Love the camera but i was unable to get the email feature to work and sadly customer support could not figure it out either. So i now have a camera hooked up but unable to get any notifications of detected motion. However, the only beneficial feature is the mobile app that i can use but that won’t help me if someone is breaking in unless i am happening to view at the same time. All in all this is a great system not so hard to install (first cam system i have installed and i am not a pro or someone handy), apart from the email feature everything is perfect.

    Will i don’t have the phone hooked up yet it took me most of the day to run the cables through my roof. As for what you can and can’t see i will be able to notice a car or dog that i have seen before but its hard to get a good shot of someone that you would not see every day.       This system packs a massive load of value for the price paid. If you’re looking for a basic camera system with good camera images, then this is what you’re looking for. Regarding the dvr, it’s fairly easy to use, the interface isn’t the best but it is already better than other systems. It is a good size and also it includes a 1tb preinstalled hard drive with avery recent manufacturing date. The cameras are smaller than i thought. All metal casing construction. Looked perfect for my installation. The image is quite good, not crystal clear but good enough. The cables are way longer than i needed since i was justputting this in a 15×20 outbuilding. Night vision really works,just not so far away. I have to light up the monitored area a little bit in order to extend the night vision distance, in complete darkness the night visionis not far enough though.

This is an all in one kit that comes with almost everything you need for a security cctv monitoring system, as a common user with average background in this field i could easily set it up within 15 minutes so i assume it won’t be an issue for anyone who has dealt with similar products before. Image quality (color or black & white) is not super hd but definitely more than clear as it has 800tv line cameras, cables are super long for me to run through my house. The motion detection, night vision, and snap shots via email that you can set to receive in specified intervals all appear to be in good working condition. The only complain is probably the manual instruction as it would be difficult to understand for layperson, in my case as i managed to set it up all great i would say the instruction caused me no hassle and trouble. And of course you can call the tech support if you like, but note only to call during business hours – no weekends, no evenings. I recommend this system to anyone looking for a cost effective, basic system with lots of features.
