I have the remote access working on iphones and ipads and once i had changed the ip address of the unit to one i was sure wasn’t already used, the network connection suddenly worked perfectly. This is done in the network settings area of the software you get with the pack, and is changed by checking the ip address of your router so they match (bar the last value)i had one strange situation where, at 11pm one night, seen by the footage, on of the cameras suddenly flipped its image to upside down. It is not clear from the immediate instructions how to change this but a 5 minute wait after an email to [email protected] Com and the answer was there in clear screen shots and instructions of how to enter the software of each camera via ip address and change simple settings like ir setting and mirror or flip of the output image through each camera. Don’t be put off by people slating the iphone app as i have got it to work very well. I have not had any issues using this as long as you have good 3g, 4g or wifi on the device. Well worth the money and quality good enough to read number plates and clearly see the faces of any intruders.

      Bought this after reading other reviews. I work in it but even so it was very easy to setup. Checked everything worked by plugging it all in before i ran any cables. Stuck a hard drive in it and used the screwholes underneath the recorder to secure it. No noise at all from the hard drive. Drilled a few holes in the house walls. Although it came with all the cables i used by own cables and used the waterproof ends from the supplied cable and crimped the ends on. Each camera came on line and the quality is fantastic. Tried out the motion detection and got about 30 emails in 5 seconds so i turned that off lol.
